Chenese Lewis is delighted to announce the release of the Friends of the Capitol Park Museum’s Annual Impact Report for 2023-24. This milestone document reflects the significant strides made in supporting the Capitol Park Museum over the past year.

As the only African American and woman serving as the President of the Board of Directors within the Louisiana State Museum System, Chenese is particularly committed to fostering diversity and inclusion. Her vision is for museum attendees to reflect the rich demographic tapestry of Baton Rouge through active and inclusive community collaborations.

Over the past year, the board has undergone significant organizational restructuring aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. These changes have aligned efforts more closely with the mission and improved service to the museum and its community.

The Annual Impact Report details these efforts and highlights achievements, including key partnerships, community engagement activities, and successful events hosted. It also showcases the organization’s financial health, supported by members, donors, and sponsors.

Readers are invited to explore the full report, which is available digitally with integrated links, and an attached PDF version for download.
