Chenese Lewis has been elected to serve as Corresponding Secretary for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan Baton Rouge Chapter for the 2025–2027 term.
In this role, Lewis will oversee official chapter correspondence and support communication between the executive board, members, and community partners. With her extensive background in public relations and communications, she is well-prepared to bring excellence and innovation to the position.
Lewis has been an active and dedicated member of the Metropolitan Baton Rouge Chapter for several years, previously serving as Director of Marketing & Communications and host of the chapter’s Keeping It 100: Coalition Conversations podcast. Through her leadership and service, she has consistently advanced the organization’s mission of advocating on behalf of Black women and girls in the areas of health, education, economic empowerment, and public policy.
